Ambrea + Rodney
Ambrea, a pharmacist, was at work one day when her coworker had to leave on a family emergency. The company called in a "relief" pharmacist who would turn out to be none other than her future husband, Rodney. The two instantly connected, and after getting to know each other more, Ambrea found out Rodney specialized in breast cancer. When her own mother was diagnosed with the disease, he became a "rock" for the family, supporting them through her mother's treatment. The couple's relationship grew stronger through the difficult experience, and, one fine fall day, they made their bond official, with a romantic outdoor ceremony followed by an elegant, jewel-toned ballroom reception, both at picturesque Sandlewood Manor. Rodney, a huge "Game of Thrones" fan, decked out his tux jacket with a Targaryen sigil lining and gifted his groomsmen with dragon lapel pins. To honor the bride's New Orleans roots, the couple made a "second line" departure, dancing beneath umbrellas to the sounds of a brass band, off to begin their new life as newlyweds.
