Weddings in Houston:  Tell us a little about yourself and what inspired you to start Space City Toasts. 

Elisa Infante: Space City Toasts stemmed from my interest in the wedding and events industry. I have always had a passion for event and party planning since my college days. I am an administrator in education, but my time as a teacher really allowed me to kickstart my business. Using my free time in the summer of 2024, I threw around the idea of building our first champagne wall with my fiancé. He entertained my crazy idea, and we documented our progress with the build on Instagram. From there, we began to get bookings and soon invested in a few other champagne walls. We are still within the first year of starting our business and have an inventory of four wall displays, glassware, and LED signage.  

WiH: What options do you offer couples who want to personalize their champagne walls to match their wedding themes and aesthetics?  

EF: We often like to say that our walls start as a blank slate with the intention that they can easily be dressed up. At Space City Toasts, we offer a custom package that allows our couples to share their vision, send me inspiration, or talk me through how they envision the wall. Our custom package can include anything from fresh floral garlands, personalized drink toppers, seating charts, and snack displays to custom vinyl monograms or all of the above. We even offer the ability to paint the wall to match a specific color. Our “Living Wall” is also in our inventory, which has been a viral trend. This is one of our newest additions and one of our largest displays. It’s engaging and has that “surprise” factor because you never know where a drink will pop out from!  

WiH: How do your champagne wall rentals enhance the guest experience, and what feedback have you received from couples?  

EF: Our champagne wall rentals are meant to encourage interaction and bring a personalized touch to the event. We want guests to interact with the display, take photos, post on their social media, and give them the ability to grab a drink all at the same time. They can greet guests walking into the event or even transition into cocktail hour with something to sip.  Our couples have said the champagne wall is a big hit, and their guests love the photo ops! They have claimed that the champagne wall just sets the tone for what’s to come on their big day.  

WiH: What creative ways have you seen couples incorporate your champagne walls into their celebration?  

EF: One of our most creative setups was our beige champagne wall that included a custom vinyl monogram, dressed with champagne glasses and charcuterie cups to greet guests upon walking into the ceremony. This allowed guests to sip and snack while waiting for the ceremony to begin. During the ceremony, the wall was transitioned into a seating chart and champagne glass display to give guests the opportunity to grab another drink while moving into cocktail hour. 

WiH: For couples interested in booking a champagne wall for their big day, what should they know about the process, from reservation to setup?  
 

EF: We accept inquiries through our website and social media pages. From there, couples should expect to hear back within 48 hours and will receive our rental catalog and price list. Couples who wish to choose our prepared packages can then proceed with the booking. Couples who choose to proceed with a custom rental package will be scheduled for a one-hour consultation call to discuss vision, theme, or customization options. Upon booking, our couples will expect to hear back from our team approximately one week prior to the event to finalize any last-minute details or changes. Our team will deliver, set up, install, and tear down at the end of the event. All that we ask at the end of our rentals is that our couples tag us on social media, leave us a review, and share our business with others!   

WiH: Anything else you would like to add?  

EF: At Space City Toasts, we believe that every event starts or ends with a toast, so why not make it memorable? We love having the ability to be a part of your special day and bring you the ambiance your event deserves!
