White Wedding Florals by Plants N’ Petals Adorn This Luxury Celebration

Aisha and Su’s love story began through mutual friends, but it was Su who took the first step, suggesting they hang out one-on-one. One of their early dates was to the Broadway musical Fela!—an experience that left a lasting impression.

Fast forward to a trip to Israel, where Su was playing professional basketball. He surprised Aisha with a proposal during her visit. “I didn’t hesitate to say (scream) ‘yes!’“ Aisha says.

The couple’s ceremony on August 8, 2023, blended meaningful traditions with modern elegance. Circular seating around the altar created an intimate setting, while lush, all-white florals by Plants N’ Petals added a sophisticated touch. Aisha and Su also included a foot-washing ritual as part of their vows. “It was truly symbolic of our unselfish love,” Aisha shares.

At the reception, the decor truly shined. Large floral installations featuring cascading orchids and blooms hung over the dance floor, creating a breathtaking focal point. Family-style tables were dressed in luxe linens and adorned with lush arrangements, encouraging an inviting atmosphere. The eight-tier black-and-white cake by Susie’s Cakes added the perfect sweet finish to the event’s design. The bridal party added a striking contrast to the black-and-white color scheme, with bridesmaids dressed in dark teal gowns that popped beautifully against the neutral decor.

But the show-stopping moment of the night? Aisha’s surprise hair transformation. She switched from flowing locks at the ceremony to a chic pixie cut for the reception. “His jaw dropped on the floor, and he was ecstatic!” Aisha says about Su’s reaction.

From the gorgeous decor to the unforgettable moments, Aisha and Su’s wedding was a stylish celebration.
