“This was by far the happiest and most perfect day of my life,” says Houston bride Megan. “My fairy tale wedding came true.” Nothing could delight us more…except, perhaps, getting to look at photos of Megan and James’ vintage-elegant wedding celebration, in shades of champagne, ivory and coral. Of course, at the heart of this lovely Texas wedding was the bride herself, radiant in her keyhole-back Watters bridal gown, gorgeous updo and birdcage veil, surrounded by bridesmaids in flowing coral. Beautiful Blush and Ivory Madera Estates Wedding by Ama Photography & Cinema

There’s a certain, special, sense-of-mystery romance that only online dating can create. Just ask recent bride Vanessa, who spoke by phone to eHarmony match Eric almost every day for THREE MONTHS before meeting him face-to-face. Luckily, their in-person meeting was just as romantic as those many, many phone calls, and almost two years to the day they first laid eyes on each other, the pair wed in front of 250 loved ones at a magnificent Madera Estates celebration. While Vanessa says that selecting her song list and making her seating chart were no piece of cake, the wedding itself was pure sweetness, done up in elegant shades of ivory and blush, Vanessa radiant in her Maggie Sottero gown from Brickhouse Bridal. “He truly is my hero,” says Jamie of her firefighter hubby James, whom she wed in a fabulous fall affair at Hotel ZaZa, in front of 130 of the couple’s nearest and dearest. Bridal Soiree at The Corinthian knows how much our amazing Houston wedding florists and decorators love to fill that neoclassical column-lined space up with lots of white, cream and ivory wedding finery. So we’re THRILLED to share with you Mary and Adrian’s Houston wedding, which transforms The Corinthian with an explosion of color. Inspired by the 1920s, the pair’s wedding included Art Deco touches throughout, plus lavish jewel-tone flowers by Events in Bloom, and a magnificent menu from Jackson and Company. “Emily, our wedding planner, also put a Champagne bar in the women’s bathroom,” notes the bride. “Needless to say, that was a favorite among the guests.” Feast your eyes on J. Middle Eastern and American Houston Wedding with NBA Twist

It’s a pretty good sign when your groom takes your cultural traditions and family expectations into consideration when popping the question: “Being Middle Eastern, where the proposal is normally an official, formal, family event, Jonathan wanted to make sure my family was included in the special night,” says bride Rema. A week before her 30^th birthday, on Memorial Day weekend at her parents’ house, Jonathan gave his future wife a pair of shoes she’d been coveting. Little did she know that her real gift—a gorgeous diamond engagement ring—was taped to the bottom of the shoebox. “I was speechless. It took about 30 seconds to actually say, ‘Yes,’ after the ring was on my finger. It was very memorable, and very respectful for Jonathan to include my family in the moment.” For her wedding, Rema wore Rivini from Ivory Bridal Atelier, and the couple and their 250 guests dined on braised short rib and danced to a mix of Arabic and American music. Rema’s favorite moment? “We had the Rockets game announcer”—Jonathan is senior manager of game operations and events for the NBA team—“announce us and our wedding party at the beginning of the reception.
