Maria and Mehroze met on a dating app for Muslims to connect. They Facetimed a few times before their first date, and the bride says they “instantly formed a bond that felt inseparable, and we both knew there was no going back.”

As their connection deepened, Maria and Mehroze shared with their parents that they had found someone they liked and saw as a potential match for marriage. When their mothers connected, they hit it off so well that they suggested an engagement. Soon after, Mehroze placed a ring on Maria’s finger in the presence of both families. But Mehroze wasn’t done with surprises—just a few months later, he went down on one knee and asked Maria the big question in a heartfelt proposal. “Although I was his fiancée at the time, it still felt so nerve-racking yet full of love and excitement,” Maria shares.

The couple wed on February 18, 2024, at Venue 311. This French country-inspired venue was the perfect setting for their celebration. Their ceremony took place in the chapel. “When I walked down the aisle, I was nervous and super emotional, but as soon as I saw Mehroze, all the worries passed away, and my face lit up with the biggest smile,” Maria says. “In that moment, I knew I had chosen someone that would provide me shade and comfort amidst the chaos of life.”

After the ceremony, the couple took newlywed portraits amidst the venue’s 10 acres of land.

The reception unfolded in the elegant 6,000-square-foot banquet hall, where timeless white walls, exposed wooden beams, and glittering chandeliers created an enchanting atmosphere. The blue-and-white color palette, brought to life by Irresistible Events & Services, added a touch of sophistication to the space.  Guests enjoyed a night filled with laughter and dancing. The evening ended on a high note as Maria and Mehroze made their grand exit in a Corvette, a fitting finale to their unforgettable celebration.
