Romantic Lake Como Wedding Weekend for a Sports Power Couple

Cooper MacNeil, a former American professional race car driver, and Katie Kearney, a multifaceted model, content creator, and golf host, celebrated their nuptials in the picturesque setting of Lake Como, Italy.

The weekend was a series of unforgettable events, from a limoncello-themed welcome dinner to a grand firework display that capped off their reception. Welcome Dinner

The festivities began with an intimate welcome dinner that exuded the charm of an Italian summer. Adorned in blue and yellow, the decor featured a stunning limoncello wall and lemon accents, creating a vibrant and inviting atmosphere. Katie dazzled in a short white dress as she and Cooper warmly greeted their guests, setting the perfect tone for the weekend.

The Wedding Ceremony

Katie and Cooper exchanged vows at the historic Villa D’Este, a luxurious resort that epitomizes the grandeur of Lake Como. Katie walked down the aisle in a breathtaking lace gown by Berta, surrounded by the venue’s rich architecture and the rolling hills of northern Italy. The couple’s beloved pup joined them as they sealed their vows with a kiss and made their way back down the aisle.

Cocktail Hour

After the ceremony, the couple took a romantic boat ride before making a stylish return to their guests in a red Ferrari for cocktail hour. Guests sipped on Aperol Spritzes served with cocktail napkins featuring the couple’s dog, adding a personal touch to the event. Katie and Cooper captured beautiful moments with their wedding party, all dressed in sleek black gowns and tuxedos.

Reception

The reception was held in a regal ballroom where subtle blush and white florals and candlelight accentuated the room’s natural extravagance. Katie changed into a sleeveless lace gown by Mira Zwillinger, and the newlyweds dined and danced with their guests.

After Party

The celebration continued with a lively after party. Katie made her final outfit change into a flirty beaded and feathered dress by Ines di Santo. The night concluded with a spectacular fireworks show over the waters of Lake Como, with drinks and pizza, bringing the festivities to a memorable close.
