Klayton and Patrick’s love story began at Texas A&M Galveston. Klayton, accompanying her roommate for a casual “hang out” and homework session, met Patrick and instantly felt a connection. What started as a college friendship blossomed into a romantic relationship, leading to a beautiful proposal after three blissful years together. They celebrated their love with a pink coastal wedding in Galveston, a nod to where their love story began.
Patrick’s proposal was nothing short of magical. After a brunch date, he took Klayton to Seawolf Park, where they explored an old submarine. Afterward, on the serene beach, Patrick proposed, and Klayton happily said, “Yes!” The day didn’t end there; Patrick had arranged a surprise celebration at Klayton’s parents’ beach house, filled with their closest friends and family, making it a night to remember.
On November 11, 2023, Klayton and Patrick began their newlywed lives at the stunning Grand Galvez. Before the ceremony, Klayton snapped pictures with her dachshund, starting the day with an adorable moment.
The day was painted in pink, blue, and white hues, reflecting the couple’s bright spirits and love for the coastal aura. Their vows were set against the romantic background of Grand Galvez’s stunning Center Lawn, where gorgeous palm trees frame the pair.
In her off-the-shoulder gown, Klayton looked stunning—a picture of classic elegance. Her bridesmaids’ bold hot pink gowns brought a lively touch to the affair and flawlessly complemented the flower arrangements.
The festivities after “I Do” continued with a gorgeous reception in the Music Hall ballroom. Designed with intricate details, Cakes by Gina provided two decadent cakes for the couple’s reception: a white 5-tier wedding cake covered in florals and a second cake designed into a Coors Light can with a small figurine paying tribute to their beloved pup.
Klayton’s floral vision was truly a feast for the eyes, capturing the essence of romance and elegance. The arrangements showcased an array of pink tones, from bold hydrangeas to blush roses. “The flowers were my highlight,” Klayton shared, and it’s easy to see why.
