Houston meteorologist Caroline Brown from KPRC2 met her husband, Jack, through a bit of family matchmaking. Caroline’s sister saw the potential long before Caroline did, predicting they’d be perfect together. Caroline’s brother-in-law happened to be Jack’s roommate, and when the two met, the sparks were undeniable. Caroline shares, “Turns out my sister was right, he’s my absolute dream man, and we’ve been inseparable ever since.”

Jack proposed to Caroline in a beautiful, thoughtful setup. When she arrived home from her morning show, she followed a trail of rose petals up to their outdoor terrace, where Jack was down on one knee, with their dog, Stormy, loyally by his side. After saying “yes,” Caroline was surprised yet again—Jack had planned a celebratory trip to Miami!

On March 16, 2024, the couple exchanged vows at Caroline’s family ranch, a deeply meaningful place for the bride. With a green, white, and gold color scheme, they kept the decor and stationery by Bering’s classic and understated. “We kept our colors simple because we wanted the natural Texas wildflowers to steal the show,” Caroline shares. “I’m very proud to be a sixth-generation Texan, and I’m giddy that the timing worked out that the bluebonnets were in bloom for our guests!”

Their outdoor ceremony took place in a breathtaking field of bluebonnets and wildflowers. Caroline looked radiant in her Ines Di Santo gown as she walked down the aisle with her father, who wore a bolo tie and longhorn cufflinks. Despite a forecast calling for rain, Caroline and her bridesmaids—many of whom are also meteorologists—decided to forgo a tent, trusting their radar skills. “It was risky, but our accurate forecast paid off! It stayed dry for our guests, and our ceremony and cocktail hours were perfect,” Caroline says.

As the sun set over the ranch, the couple enjoyed a breathtaking view that led into a night filled with dancing and a spectacular fireworks show.
