Weddings in Houston: Share the story behind the venue. How did it start? What’s the story behind the name and location?
The Hundred Oaks: The Hundred Oaks Event Center launched in November 2021 in Crosby, TX. Our founder is a local entrepreneur who makes big ideas become a reality. A Houston native, they saw endless potential in a venue just minutes outside the city that was not only available but exceptionally gorgeous. A place where fairy tales come to life. After walking the hundred-acre wooded property countless times, the name was right in front of them. They quickly gathered a dream team and went to work at The Hundred Oaks Event Center, and the rest is history!
WIH: What makes The Hundred Oaks a standout venue?
THO: It’s difficult not to stand out with our Tuscan-inspired reception hall and chapel, beautiful stonework, countless arches and, of course, all the gorgeous crystal chandeliers your heart desires. Jaws will drop when your guests see the sparkling grand hall. It happens every time! Couples can make a show-stopping entrance to the reception, descending our large staircase to kick off the night of their dreams! The venue is tucked away in the peaceful country, overlooking our private lake stocked with fish. Our stately fountain will be the cherry on top of your wedding day photos. A large venue, we can accommodate weddings of all sizes, even over 500 of your closest friends & family. We value our clients’ wedding day vision and have positioned ourselves to allow for maximum customization to achieve their ultimate wedding aesthetic. As a BYOV (bring your own vendor) venue, clients have the control to invite vendors of their choosing. Having this option helps maintain the client’s budget requirements and unique preferences for a special event like no other!
THO: We love to spoil our brides and grooms! Our primary way to spoil them is through our spacious and perfectly appointed Bridal and Groomsmen suites. It’s the perfect place to relax with their crew as they get ready for the most special day of their lives. Our separate suites include individual vanity spaces for everyone in the wedding party to get ready and ample seating, tables, and private en suite restrooms. Our Bridal Suite is an opulent wedding daydream get-ready space! No detail was spared from our ornate metallic sofas, hooks for the bride and bridal parties’ gowns, and balcony access. 11 lit vanity spaces for bridesmaids and four larger vanity areas are the perfect spot for the glam squad to do hair and makeup. The bridal suite is located on the opposite side of the venue for optimal privacy until it’s time to walk down the aisle. Our Groomsmen’s suite is a cozy and warm masculine space featuring an epic pool table, comfy sofas, two big-screen TVs for his favorite gaming console or to watch the game, a shower, individual vanities and balcony access.
