Jordan and Tyler’s story began with a swipe on a dating app. After exchanging messages for a few days, they arranged to meet at a local bar in the Houston Heights. Sparks flew, and they shared a romantic dinner soon after in Galveston, Texas, solidifying their connection as an official couple.

Galveston Island held special meaning for Jordan and Tyler, so they returned to the island for a weekend getaway. The evening began over a romantic dinner at the very spot where their love story started before Tyler proposed beside the Grand Galvez fountain. He’d arranged a surprise celebration afterward with family at a restaurant in The Strand, creating an unforgettable night. “It was a great weekend celebrating,” the bride shares.

On May 25, 2024, Jordan and Tyler exchanged vows in a traditional church ceremony surrounded by friends and family. They followed the ceremony with an elegant reception at the historic Grand Galvez, where the ballroom exuded classic sophistication with hues of dusty blue and gold, accented by a pastel color palette. Chic stationery from Bering’s enhanced the atmosphere, while floral arrangements adorned each table, adding to the charm and elegance of the evening.

The reception’s centerpiece was a five-tier white wedding cake by Cakes by Gina, a vision of elegance that perfectly complemented the ambiance. A standout moment from the evening featured the father of the bride’s classic light blue 1957 Chevrolet Belair as their getaway car. “It was such a special thing for us to be able to do this, and my dad loved having his car sit in front of the Galvez,” the bride says.

Congratulations, Jordan and Tyler!
