Former Fox 26 News Reporter Natalie Hee and Kevin’s love story began in Austin, where they met through a dating app during their undergraduate years. Their connection reignited four years later when Kevin, seeing Natalie on the news, reached out to her on social media. From that moment, sparks flew.

After two years of dating, Kevin planned a romantic trip to Las Vegas. Overlooking the Bellagio Fountains, he surprised Natalie with a heartfelt proposal, marking the beginning of their journey forever.

Before their wedding, Natalie and Kevin honored their heritage with an intimate tea ceremony, donning traditional red garments. On January 27, 2024, they exchanged vows under the iconic oak tree at The Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa. The al fresco ceremony, illuminated by dazzling lights, featured a color palette of blue, white, gold and pink accents.

The ballroom at The Houstonian was transformed with twinkling disco balls and a lush hanging garden over the checkered dance floor. Live wedding painter Rendered Moments captured their first dance on canvas, adding a unique touch to their celebration. A special highlight from their wedding day? “Our dads’ speeches and traditional Malaysian Yam Seng toast,” the bride says.

Natalie and Kevin cut into a stunning five-tier white wedding cake by Susie’s Cakes as Danny Ray and the Atlantic Street Band’s electrifying tunes filled the ballroom. The celebration concluded with a late-night ramen bar, followed by a lively second line band exit that paid homage to Natalie’s New Orleans roots.
