Hannah and Jake met as law students in New Orleans, and the city quickly became a special part of their story. From the moment they fell in love, New Orleans was woven into everything from their engagement to the big day.
Jake proposed at Audubon Park, right under Hannah’s favorite tree. After she said yes, her college friends surprised her with a big celebration in the French Quarter. “It was the best day ever—until the wedding, of course!” Hannah says.
Fast forward to May 20, 2023, when they officially became husband and wife with a beautiful church ceremony. “I was just so happy to finally see Jake and become his wife that the moment when the church doors opened, the trumpets sounded, and I saw him—it was a feeling unlike anything I’ve ever experienced before,” the bride shares.
The celebration continued at Royal Oaks Country Club, where they brought the spirit of New Orleans to life with streetcars, a reception-style dinner and a Second Line exit.
One of the bride’s favorite parts? Her gorgeous wedding dress. “My dress had four different looks all in one. I’ve been a dancer all my life, so I am all about a good costume change!” Hannah says.
Their wedding was the perfect mix of love-filled moments and lively New Orleans-inspired fun, creating an unforgettable celebration.
