Brittany and Walker’s love story began in college at Texas A&M, where they were friends for years before Walker finally asked her on a date. Their first date was beautifully tailored to their personalities: Brittany’s love for sunsets and Walker’s passion for flying. They spent the evening at George Library, watching the sun dip below the horizon, making s’mores, and watching planes land together. Brittany shares, “Afterwards, we both thought that night could have been our ‘last first date’!”

One of their most romantic memories happened mid-flight during their first kiss. Walker took Brittany on a joyride, “As cheesy as it sounds, Walker told me that he’d need a kiss in order to land the plane safely,” she shares.

Walker’s proposal was equally special, set at his family lake house in Tyler, Texas—the same place where they first exchanged “I love yous.” In a twist of fate, the photographer missed capturing the moment, which made it even more intimate. Afterwards, a limo whisked them away to Fort Worth, where friends and family eagerly awaited to celebrate.

Their dreamy June wedding was enveloped in wisteria purple, beginning with a traditional church ceremony and followed by a stylish reception at The Astorian. Before walking down the aisle, the couple shared a “first touch” and exchanged heartfelt notes. Custom vows added a personal touch, and they exited the church with a joyful bubble send-off. Wisteria-hued details flourished throughout the day, from the bridesmaid dresses to the floral arrangements, creating an elegant look.

Brittany’s love for bows was woven into the decor, from her shoes to the wedding cake by Susie’s Cakes. A highlight of the night was the groom’s cake, a tribute to Walker’s passion for flying. Brittany also dazzled with three outfit changes, ending the night in a mini dress and custom sneakers. “It was so fun to wear shoes that Walker had customized for me and our wedding!” she says. Surrounded by loved ones, the couple ended their celebration with a flower petal exit, to a chorus of happy farewells.
