Sandra + Brian
Introduced by a mutual client in 2013, Sandra and Brian had shared a similar circle of friends for ages, “but for some reason, we never crossed paths until we were meant to meet,” she says. Once they did, though, their shared love of travel and lust for life kept them bound—for good. Sandra recounts Brian’s poignant December 2015 proposal: “I lost my father when I was 18, and it shaped my life dramatically. Brian always knew I was going to be disappointed that my father wasn’t there to walk his youngest girl down the aisle.” So, on Christmas Eve, Brian suggested that they visit Sandra’s father’s grave before going to church, and it was there that he asked for her hand in marriage, telling her, “Your father would be so proud of the woman you have become.” For their spring wedding at The Astorian, “We wanted to give our guests the best, as we celebrated starting our new life together,” Sandra says. “It was a beautiful evening and we wish we could relive it all over again. We wouldn’t change one thing.”
